Gordon Arthur Farrell FRCIS (Retired) is the founder of G.A. Farrell & Associates Limited.

Mr Farrell, a past pupil of Queens Royal College (class of 1942), joined the civil service right out of school becoming a Pupil Surveyor up until 1945. when he became a Trinidad & Tobago Licensed Land Surveyor and was promoted to Surveyor, Class I, in the Lands and Surveys Department.

Mr. Farrell furthered his education in his chosen field with a one year stint at the University of Toronto, between 1948 and 49. In 1955 he became an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors before becoming a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1962.

1967 saw Gordon Farrell promoted to the position of Director of Surveys and Sub-intendant of Crown Lands. He also continued his education during this time graduating from the University of the West Indies in 1973 with a diploma in Business Management.

He continued as Director of Surveys and Sub-intendant of Crown Lands up until 1975, when he left the Civil Service to start his own business, G.A Farrell and Associates where he was Chairman until his retirement in 2008.
